How you get paid back
Zipply is a one-year company. At the end of the school year we close it down and hand the money back — you get your original €20 per share first, then your slice of the profit.
Step 1
Sell all year
We sell bags to customers from launch until the school year ends.
Step 2
Close and cash out
We liquidate the company: sell what's left, settle the bills, count the profit.
Step 3
Pay shareholders
The profit is split 50/50: half to the 7 managing partners who run Zipply, half across the 60 shares on offer. You get your €20 back plus your slice.
What that works out to
The shareholders' half of the profit, divided by 60 shares, on top of your €20.
| If we make… | Split between shareholders | Back per share | Your 1 share |
|---|---|---|---|
| €1,000 profit | €500 | €28.33 | €28.33 |
| €3,000 profit | €1,500 | €45 | €45 |
| €6,000 profit | €3,000 | €70 | €70 |
Examples only, not a promise. If the year ends without profit there is no profit to divide — you get your €20 back and nothing more. No guaranteed return.
One more thing: the 7 of us who run Zipply each bought two shares and put our own money in first. Half of the profit is ours and half is yours — so we only do well if you do.
